If it works! We all do things differently and what works for some people would never work for others, but if it is efficient for you, then I say go for it.

Thanks Elaine! So glad you got some use out of this post.

I work in what I term "segments" so I look at the clock, determine what will be done during the determined time and then set to it. It is surprisingly efficient!

Nice post. You surprised me with a few different approaches to decluttering. I especially liked your simple but elegant solution to help manage time...a big clock in front of your desk. Thx

My files tend to end up in big stacks all over my desk. I have a cabinet for them, but I have a bad habit of not putting the files away when I'm done. When I make a new file, I put a sticky note on the front of it that says "Put me back!". Ridiculous, I know, but it works for me!

If you shop in an area with several grocery stores, buy the loss leaders from various stores. When a non-perishable item is on sale, buy in bulk and freeze or store for future use. (This also saves gas money for unnecessary trips to the store). Vary your menus with on-sale seasonal fruits and vegetables. Cook if you know how, if not learn. Today there are millions of recipes out there for easy to fix meals. Not only will you save money not buying prepared foods, but you can make healthier choices.
