Do you have strong WordPress Platform Skills?

We are looking for people with strong WordPress Platform skills who can work remotely and keep to deadlines.

Do you have these capabilities?

Install WordPress:  Have working knowledge of installations both through the hosting accounts (using one-click installer like Fantastico) and via FTP for those hosts that do not offer one-click installs.

Install and activate premium themes and plugins using the automatic plugin installer built into WP 2.7 and higher.

Customize WordPress settings.

Simple WP theme customization: Changes to widths, colors, backgrounds, images, etc.

Image manipulation; create banner ads, buttons, and other web based graphics.

Basic CSS knowledge: This is required for simple WP theme customizations and placing code into WP widgets.

Understanding of how to integrate code directly into theme files for polls, audio, etc.

Misc. capabilities are not a must, but will greatly increase the probability of working with our company:

Intermediate to advanced WP theme customizations – create new sections (magazine-style layout, sidebars, widget areas, sectioned headers/footers, etc.), create custom page templates.

Intermediate to advanced CSS knowledge – ability to create and style your own selector ids and classes as needed; advanced styling techniques.

Newsletter setup and integration. Most of our clients offer newsletters and ezines.  We work largely with Aweber, Constant Contact, iContact, GetResponse and Vertical Response.

Feedburner integration. We will give you the code and you implement it.

Ability to customize WP plugin files to add or remove functionality.

Ability to find and fix coding that is creating errors, whether we built the blog or not.

Familiarity with WP Wishlist membership site plugin.
